High-current nanosecond controlled multi-gap closing gap of radial design.
An experimental sample of a high-current nanosecond controlled multi-gap closing discharger of radial design directed to switching coaxial lines with charging voltage up to 400 kV was developed. Fig. 3 shows the design of the discharger. The outer diameter of the discharger is 200 mm, the length is 250 mm.
